HiI have an idea for the use of eportfolios in creating individual learning pathways for ESL students in a public system secondary school. It was my first Webinar and I really enjoyed it - even wrote a blog post about it - http://epcopmooc2011.wordpress.com/
I'm very excited about learning technologies as well. A few years ago something like a MOOC just would not have been possible and it may have been years until I came across some of the stuff I'm discovering at the moment. I also have irons in many fires and am not sure what to do with them all.
What do you teach? German? I can see that you have a good command of it from your comments. One of the things I'd love to do in my life is to learn another language properly and use it. I know some French from school some Spanish from travel, and some Swedish from having lived there for 6 months but none of them very well. One day...

Und wenn ich noch mehr gelernt habe, nutze ich meine diversen Profile im sozialen Netz vielleicht auch regelmäßiger. Bis dahin schiebe ich dich auf G+ nun auch erst mal in einen meiner Kreise :-)
(well your writing in German works out pretty fine! :-) I have to admit that I'm quite new to using the web for aiding my academic purposes - I am currently learning a lot myself. And one day, when I'll have learnt even more, I may will make better use of my profiles in the web 2.0. Until then I'll just re-circle you on G+ - how's that? :-)

I'm not sure yet what my next move is education and career-wise. I'm doing the TAFE teaching course, Cert IV TAE at the moment and hope to get a job teaching there (I've had an interview but had to finish the course before they could talk to me about teaching opportunities). In the longer term I'd like to do instructional design/eLearning. I'll definitely keep that course in mind, although I doubt I'll be able to start straight away. I'm also really interested in pedagogy even though I don't have a teaching background.
I think you were at the webinar this morning. Did you say you were in Canada or was that someone else? If you are I'm guessing you are not on the UNE campus.
