EpCoP MOOC is parked!

Posted by Coach Carole on November 11, 2011 at 9:49am 0 Comments

Today Ning advised me that they successfully downgraded the account to mini - to reduce costs whilst we are not using for the next few months.

This means that some of the previously available tools are not available for the timebeing, but will return in the new year.

Enjoy maintaining your eportfolios and if you want prompting, join the 'Out of Practice' group at Facebook.

How to navigate in here!

The EpCoP MOOC network space has been designed for maximum engagement and minimal fuss. Here you will be able to communicate with other MOOC participants and the leaders.

Across the top are the menu items leading you to various areas of the network to explore. You are currently on the main page.

  • In the learnspace you will find links to the MOOC guide, the MOOC lab and other pages where all the learning tools, resources and instructions are kept.
  • The MOOC lab is on another site (EpCoP_learnspace) that we have created for ease of access at any time - no login required there - to all the challenges, missions, quests and resources.
  • The forum tab links to all the discussions started in the forum providing you with opportunities to communicate with the leaders and participants at any time.
  • The my page is where you can prepare a space for yourself with its own look and feel.
  • The members page lists all of the members and has links to shared photos and videos from participants.
  • The real time events for the MOOC will be announced in the events tab.
  • Other postings, announcements, reflections and shared progress reports will appear in the blogs or notes pages.
  • You can also join one of the participant groups that are displayed in the groups tab.
  • and just for fun, we've added the latest Ning App called Smallworlds - immerse yourself in another world and set your own missions.

In this left column you will find quick links to the groups, recent forums, top posts and blogs.

In the right column you can access the Badge, the calendar of events, the MOOC blog, Members, and latest activities.
